A bunch of Westleigh folk, including our youngest and not so youngest, enjoyed another great weekend in the Derbyshire hills, based at the Castleton Rotary Centre.
After some great thoughts and discussion on the theme of our apprenticeship in Christ, we braved the elements and headed up Lose Hill and despite a few heavy showers the sun shone and dried us out again!
The fun and games in the evening included play dough, bare feet spelling, sticky polo sweet faces, and one or two shocking surprises.
The sun shone even more on our wonderfully prepared Sunday morning entertainment as we wandered into and around Castleton, some of us from time to time looking a little clueless as we hunted duck, sheep, a stone bottom and all kinds valuable hidden treasure!
Rounded off by a tasty roast chicken Sunday lunch (actually all the food was really great :) and a lovely moving family breaking of bread, as we remembered the master we follow as apprentices, Jesus Christ.
Many thanks to all who helped organise and run the weekend, it was a truly family event, and thanks for the photos, some are here, more can be seen on our past event photo page.
